Delivery and Shipping

Little Minka's Boutique (Pty) Ltd is an online shop.

ALL orders must be placed and paid on our website.

As soon as payment is received, Little Minka's Boutique (Pty) Ltd will start on your order and the products will be shipped within 14 working days, depending on the availability or otherwise stated.


1. Shipping costs:

* South African Postal Services
We mostly make use of this option due to the cost effectiveness and this is our only option.

Normal post with tracking number (5 to 10 working days) - R65 (up to 1kg)
Speed Service (Overnight) - R100

(Parcel must be collected from the post office.)

* Courier - Door to door
We courier your order to your order to your address (work or home) in South Africa.

Our courier service, The Courier Guy, deliver to all major and regional cities in South Africa.
Delivery via courier has two advantages: 1. It is faster 2. It is more reliable 3. Your order is delivered straight to your door, so you do not need to go and collect it from the post office.

Courier delivery takes 1 to 5 working days depending on the order's destination.

Courier deliveries are made from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm. There are no deliveries on weekends and on public holidays.

You are also more than welcome to arrange your own courier to pick up from us. Just use the option "Collecting in Vredendal" when you check out. Just email us to arrange this and to get our address.

We charge for courier at a flat rate of R200 - Up to 5kg

Why so much? We stay in a very regional area on the West Coast of South Africa and it is a struggle to get a reliable non- expensive courier here. Most courier companies come to us, but not all accommodate us with deliveries to other cities. 


* Collection from Vredendal
If you stay in Vredendal, Klawer, Vanrhynsdorp, Lutzville and surroundings, you are more than welcome to arrange to collect your order from us. Just please contact Irene Dixon on 0871600637 to arrange this. This is free of charge.

* Arrange your own courier
        You are more than welcome to arrange your own courier to pick up your package. As soon as we let you know that your package is ready you can send your courier to pick it up. Our times for this is 8am to 1pm from Monday to Friday. Please send confirmation of the waybill number and the courier you will be using with the time to irene@littleminkas.co.za so we can make sure everything is in good order when they arrive.

2. Late Deliveries

Unforeseen circumstances e.g. adverse weather, closed roads, strikes etc. could prolong the delivery time. This is rare but it does happen, so 'late' delivery is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order. However if you delivery has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter. Courier deliveries are made from Monday to Wednesday between 9 am to 5 pm, so you should always provide a delivery address where there will be an appropriate person to sign for the delivery during these times. If there is no one around to accept the delivery, the courier company will contact the recipient via telephone so that a new delivery day can be arranged. Please keep public holidays in mind when ordering as all delivery companies are closed during these days and Little Minka's Boutique.

In the case of arranging your own courier the following will happen:
If the package was not collected from us in time we do not take responsibility for late deliveries. If the order was complete in the estimated time given you will not be held reliable for late deliveries. In this case we will send correspondence to let you know that your package is ready for collection. If no attempt is made to do so we will send a final email to let you know that you have 7 days to respond and collect the package. And if failed to do so we will send it via Normal Post through the Post Office and the bill is payable by you. 

3. Tracking your parcel

We will email you your parcel's tracking information the first working day after we send it e.g. if the parcel's leave our premises on Tuesday you will receive your tracking information via email on Wednesday morning. You can then track your parcel on the courier's websites.
